India Intensive and Gathering 2026
I will be holding a month long gathering in Tiruvannamalai in February 2026. It will begin on February 1. This will most likely be the last India intensive season as we are planning to move to the USA next year.
DATES and SCHEDULE:
10 Day Intensive - February 1 - 11
February 1 - Info meeting at 4 PM. Mandatory
February 2 - 10 - Daily meetings from 9 AM to 5 PM with 2 hour lunch break at 1 PM
February 11 - last day of the intensive, ending at 1 PM
February 12 - Day off
Freedom Gathering February 13 - 28
These will be a looser format, Q&A, Holidays, being together and enjoying.
Daily timings will also be relaxed
Bindu will offer some breath sessions
The month will include:

One full 10 day intensive

Followed by 2 weeks of a looser format, including holidays together, Q&A, conversations and being together in freedom

You'll be able to speak privately with Sal during the Intensive and after

After the 10 Day Intensive, Bindu will be offering some sessions of her work, The Embodied Consciousness Way, based on loving presence and breath. She will also offer sessions specifically for women

Spending time with new beautiful friends

There will be some days off to explore Tiru, Mount Arunachala, Ramana Ashram and more
Being together for this month at the foot of Mount Arunachala will be a very powerful time of coming to know and living freedom.
- We will help you with your trip and stay here. We can recommend good places to stay, restaurants, taxi from the airport to your guest house, rickshaw drivers to get you around or suggestions of how to rent a scooter. Your stay here will be easy and smooth.
- We will invite you to the Whatsapp Group so that you can connect with other people who are coming, before and during your time in Tiru.
The restaurants we recommend are clean and healthy and there is no need for any health concerns with food. Tiru welcomes very many westerners who visit or live here and accommodates foreigners well.
The restaurants and guest houses are far less expensive than anywhere in the west.
We serve chai and coffee during the meetings.
If you are new and have not yet done a full intensive live or online, then the 10 day intensive is mandatory. If you have done a full intensive before and you would just like to come after the main intensive, that will be fine as well. But I do recommend being there for the whole event.
If you can only stay for the intensive and then need to leave that is also ok. You can see what works for you as far as how long you are able to stay.

I spent many years with several powerful teachers. Osho 12 years—Pune 1 and 2, and the Ranch in Oregon. I left Pune a year after Osho died and spent the next 6 or 7 years with Papaji in Lucknow. I had a few very intense meetings with U.G Krishnamurti. In Tiruvannamalai, I spent time with Karl Renz. During that time in Tiru I started hanging out at lunch with Salvadore and Bindu, never considering Sal as a possible teacher for almost 8 months. I had Karl. I had one of Sal’s books and didn't read it because of my spiritual arrogance. I was invited to his talks, but didn't go. Here I was having lunch with him everyday and bullshitting about stupid things. Then one day out of the blue I thought, “I’m wasting my time talking all this bullshit”, and asked for an opportunity to talk privately. He said sure. I asked simple questions in these meetings, although I didn't think they were simple at the time. Then I decided to join Sal’s intensive. I considered myself a serious seeker, but after being with the teachers I was with, I really wasn't prepared for the mind-blowing presentation that happens during the intensive. Everyone else made it complicated and/or impossible and left you to blame yourself. "I wasn't sincere or good enough”. Sal makes it all very simple and perfectly clear. My long path is over.
